It has been so long since I've logged into this blog that I couldn't remember my password! Unfortunately, this is one of those things that has been put on the back-burner recently. Yet, it still haunts me that I'm not posting funny comments or moments with the boys. I do have a few pictures I need to get posted too. I'll get to that...um...soon?. Today is Spencer's 11
th birthday. He woke up thrilled and came home even more excited that there was no homework tonight. We didn't do too much celebrating today...scouts tonight for Spencer and Ben had a High Council meeting. Spencer loved the cash that came with cards from
G'ma Cap and
G'pa C. We have a pizza and tubing party with his 5 buddies from school planned for Friday evening. And he requested ribs for his birthday dinner...which I'll be happily paying Famous Dave's to prepare for us on Saturday evening. ;) So...the kid will be celebrating for quite a few days to come.
Sam and Alex still fight non-stop it seems but I blame the lack of snow for this. If I could get them to go outside and play the problem wouldn't be so intense. Monday was a beautiful day and we did go to the park for a while...it was wonderful!
Latest on the babies: Level II ultrasound this morning confirmed two fraternal girls and all is looking healthy and good. Just when I think I have my head wrapped around what is happening I have one of those 'moments'. Being pregnant with two babies is something that seems unreal at times. When I looked at the monitor today and the paperwork, etc. and saw '2 babies' listed on everything it made it all sink in again...we have been sent two babies! We'll do extra monitoring on Baby B for a cord/placenta attachment concern but that was the only 'red flag' they saw. I'm truly grateful. I didn't sleep well at all last night...kept thinking of all that could be found. So blessed. So pregnant. So out-of-breath. And still so much time to grow/go. ;) We'll get through it. I have a really hard time sitting
comfortably...literally can't breath well. So most of piano lessons this week I did standing up. It's going to get ugly, folks. Another item I've added to my 'to-do' list is getting rid of the boys' outgrown cloths. No need to keep a 2T boys shirt around anymore!
I'm just trying to keep up with February. Can't wait for recital to be over, rental papers to be finalized and signed, house plans to be finalized, etc. No complaining...all good things just too much in each day lately.
