It was just plain old exciting fun! Christmas Eve with the Charlesworth clan was at our home with the traditional soup and cinnamon rolls. We enjoyed listening to a recording of Julie reading two Christmas stories (Allan is holding the book while Julie's voice was reading the story...kind of neat.)
Christmas morning was wonderful. Sam woke up 1st (6:45) but we made him wait until his brothers were all awake. He waited (somewhat) patiently for 45 minutes! The boys were all thrilled with what they got and I appreciated all of the thank you's they expressed. We played hard until we left for Christmas meal at Grandpa's. Then played some more with cousins and sledding runs the rest of the day. It was fun to be with everyone.
A perfect Christmas.
