Spencer's Wise Words
I was complaining to Ben about how tired I was this week of just being home and listening to whining all of the time...with scouts and piano lessons being my only fun outings. Spencer heard this and brought me back to earth. He said "Mom...I'd LOVE to be home all of the time!" He's right...I'm such a brat. I should LOVE being home all of the time. I am very lucky. So tonight I will go to bed and give thanks for the opportunity to listen to whining 14 hours a day.

I understand COMPLETELY the frustration of the same chores and the same arguments day after day. Glad Spencer could help us keep things in perspective. You have great boys, Amelia! It is such hard work being a mom. You are doing a wonderful job.
